2 tablespoons unsalted butter, plus more for greasing the pan
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

½ loaf sourdough, cut into 5 cm cubes (about 5 to 6 cups)
2 eggs, beaten
350g store-bought caramel sauce
¼ cup thickened cream
Chocolate shavings, for serving

Directions
To make the Cosmic Crisp® Apple Caramel Bread Pudding:
Preheat the oven to 180°C and position a rack in the middle.
In a small saucepan, combine milk, butter, vanilla, cinnamon, brown sugar, and salt. Heat until the butter melts and the mixture starts to simmer, then remove from heat.
Grease an 20×20 cm baking dish with butter. Layer the chopped Cosmic Crisp® apples and cubed sourdough bread in the dish.
Pour the milk mixture over the apples and bread. Allow to sit for 20 minutes to absorb the liquid.
Bake for 30 to 45 minutes, or until the custard sets and the bread is slightly crispy on top.
Remove from the oven and drizzle with caramel sauce and thickened cream.
Serve the bread pudding topped with chocolate shavings and ice cream. Enjoy your Cosmic Crisp® Apple Caramel Bread Pudding!
